Robone is fully articulated, but what really makes him unique is
his fluid biomechanical movements and pendulum walking motion. This
gives his movements a flexibility that makes them seem almost
human. He walks at two different speeds, and can even handle 45
degree turns! When you see him automatically walk around obstacles
(thanks to sensors in his feet), you'll think he's come to life.
Robone even responds to touch and sound, as if he can feel and see
you.
But probably the most amazing thing about Robone is that you don't
need a computer to program him, or any complex set-up at all - he's
ready to roll straight from the box, all functions handled by an
ergonomic remote control which runs on regular batteries for many
hours of fun. Includes three demonstration modes: Disco dance, Rude
behavior, and Kung Fu kata. The Robone is like a video game
character for the home! Comes with full instructions and one pick
up accessory.

You can command Robone to perform more than 65 commands in any
combination.
His walking at two speeds has a fluid biomechanical stride and
pendulum gait that is impressively realistic.
Robone whistles, gives high-fives, he picks up small lightweight
objects with dexterous fingers, and he can throw or knock down
things with fully articulated arms; he executes karate chops; he
dances to his own inner music. His eyes flash, he talks, grunts,
burps, roars, raps and he...oops (something he ate?). It's
hilarious and fun.
Robone stands 13" tall and is over 20" tall with his arms extended.
He's powered by 4 D batteries - juice for six full hours of fun (if
inactive for five minutes, he enters a battery-saving sleep)
The IR remote runs on 3 "AAA" batteries (not included).
